About Petra
Petra is a Registered Counsellor with experience in various counselling roles across the healthcare industry. Providing a safe, supportive and confidential space to talk, Petra believes everyone is unique in their counselling needs and offers a person centred approach.
Her focus is to meet and understand where her clients are at in their lives and best support them using a variety of therapeutic modalities. Petra works with individuals (adults) providing short, medium and long term counselling.
In her sessions, Petra assists her clients in a range of concerns, including anger management, depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, workplace stress, eating disorders, addictive behaviours and general support.
Petra holds a Diploma of Counselling and a Graduate Diploma in Relationship Counselling and has completed specialised study and training in addictions.
If you have private health insurance with Bupa or ARHG you can claim some of the counselling session fee. Petra is in the GP centre on Mondays 9am-2pm, Wednesdays and Fridays all day.
